Roadmap to the full-featured Li-Fi cloud

Within a local Li-Fi cloud several data-based services are supported through a heterogeneous communication system. In an initital approach, the Li-Fi Consortium defined different types of technology to provide secure, reliable and ultra high-speed wireless communication interfaces. Those are:

• GigaSpeed technology

• Optical mobility technology

• Li-Fi environmental features

To increase the available services in the consumer area, industry, medical area or in logisgics, e.g., the Li-Fi Consortium is open to other communication technologies or technical topics regarding optical wireless communication. Therefore, the consortium invite future members to come up with their own ideas and suggestions.
